To say goodbye

It’s not easy. But right now, all the good byes are just floating, passing me by, without making me realize that this really is good bye.

Paul’s mom nearly started crying, which was so sweet of her; Lilo told me to always watch out and keep safe and that if I were her daughter, she’d be so worried about me! All the women that’ve known me for years are saying farewell now…

And I’m gonna miss all of them.

I can’t tell what goodbye really is. To me, right now, it is no different from saying “See you next week!”.

Though next week is going to be a new language, a new country, a new bed, a new shampoo and a new day. Just a new life.
